Starting Your Computer Quicker
05/11/2022
Here's a quick tip that will save you time and money...
Yesterday, a customer in Shoreham told me that she kept her computer on overnight because it was quite old and taking a long time to start up.
She was delighted to find out how she could put her computer into a low-power mode instead, called the 'sleep mode', similar to the standby on a TV.
If you'd like to give it a try too, you can find the 'Sleep' option above the 'Shut down' and 'Restart' buttons on the start menu.
It's then just a click of the mouse or a press of a key on your keyboard to wake your computer up again.
